There are times we look at those around us, we see their shortcomings and we can't help the feelings that follow.
And those feelings give birth to words like: useless, stupid, foolish, irresponsible, sinner, and other derogatory words.
Because we can't help but feel disgusted, irritated, angry, and many other feelings.
Many times I have fallen into this web. One minute I am on my own minding my business, and the next minute a negative thought about someone passes through my mind and there is instant dislike/hate for that person.
Many times too, I have caught myself and refused to go down that path. So I say it can be helped. You can control your emotions and words.
And because you have probably gone through this, you know how it feels to see the dirtiness of a person and not hate or dislike them.
That is the same way Jesus sees our dirtiness everyday–believers and unbelievers– yet, not one day does He condemn or hate you.
He sees our filthiness– our lust of the heart, pride, malice, arrogance, disobedience, self-hate– and the many others.
He sees them but they don't stop him from loving us. Our flaws don't have that power.
Yes! Jesus loves you and he is willing to walk you out of those flaws.
Jesus loves you.
