I have been asked why I always bring the Bible into my conversations. It is simple: I am a believer and I am training my mind to see things from God's perspective.
Everyone has a philosophy—something they believe about the different issues of life. But the Bible is complete in every area and in every philosophy of life.
So, if I am part of a conversation and I know God's view on the matter I will share it. This is how I keep transforming my mindsets.
Of course, what I say doesn't come only from my personal study. It also comes from teachings and sermons I have listened to. Still I guard my heart. Jesus warned His disciples to beware of the doctrines of the Pharisees, and there are many modern Pharisees today.
Sermons are one of the ways to reshape mindsets and align them with God's way of thinking.
But even as you listen, check them with the Word of God, with what God's generals have taught, and importantly, with the Holy spirit within you.
Selah.
