Some months back, I shared something about receiving instruction through emphasis — not a direct word from God, but a consistent emphasis on a specific subject. That’s exactly what’s happening now with intentionality.
I don’t know why, but “intentionality” has been on my lips a lot lately. It’s something I’ve been repeating to myself. I’ve gone to church — it came up. I watched a video — it was emphasized. Even in moments where the word “intentionality” wasn’t mentioned, the acts were clearly intentional.
So I’m sharing this not from a place of pressure or to tell you what to do, but from a place of burden and truth. In this season, you cannot afford to do things anyhow. It’s too costly to move through life casually.
Strive to be intentional — not because it’s easy (because trust me, it’s not), but because it’s necessary. Intentionality gives you a certain kind of awareness. Even if you don’t always act on it, being intentional sends a signal to your heart that “this matters.”
So my word for you this week is: Be intentional. Be intentional in your spiritual life, in your personal development, in your skills, in your communication, in your relationships — in every single step you take.
Don’t do things “just because others are doing it.”
Do things with meaning. Do things with purpose.
Be intentional. Don’t be casual.
Please share to reach other people.
