Why I came online
To be honest, nothing specific brought me online. I had knowledge of social media, its gist, updates, and queues.
I wasn't aware that making posts was necessary to grow my audience. Initially, I just scrolled and went about my way, but the more I did that, the more I felt the urge to create and write.
However, I was unaware of how social media could boost someone's confidence. Despite this, I kept building.
Sadly, I lost my account, but I didn't take it as a setback because I believed I could start again.
The struggles were different this time around. It's either you quit or you continue, that's where my problems started. I made many write-ups, only to find out that maybe a thousand viewers saw my recent post with just one or two comments and likes.
Isn't that discouraging? Yes, it is.
But I didn't stop and I won't because I'm building a relevant community. Whether or not there are likes or comments, my viewers are reading.
What you need to know is that human beings often judge based on what they see in the moment.
Even in your struggles, you are shaping yourself to become perfect and to manifest the picture you've created in your imagination.
Imagine a standing mirror broken out of annoyance because no one sees or appreciates it's visual representation of people. The world will still ignore its broken pieces and purchase another.
That's how social media has left me and some of us, but chasing growth is better than failure.
Every post, every write-ups and every interaction is a step towards becoming who we're meant to be and that's what keeps me going, even when the journey gets tough.
