Excellence doesn't have to cost you your entire Gold.

They are mostly the little things we ignore.

Taking your time to check your measurements well as a Carpenter.

Dressing well and wearing a nice perfume as you attend events.

Vetting your designs properly to see if you obeyed some major design principles.

Adding some touch to that dress to beautify it, before giving it out to a customer.

Serving your cake with an expensive parchment paper for a dignitary in a meeting.

Spacing your text properly as a writer who is seeking to influence people.

The very little things we ignore, maybe because of laziness or the feeling that they don't matter.

Dear Entrepreneur

There is need to stop selling products you don't understand!

You can't answer little questions about the product, yet you're promoting it?

Its really going to affect you

I know sometimes it can be tiring doing your research but understand what you're selling before promoting it.

This will help you go a long way

If possible, buy the product and use it yourself first.

Try using your products yourself and check if it's befitting or worth buying. Know everything regarding your products and that way you can promote it effectively. Thank you for this timely message Edeh Israel Olima 🔥

Dive with me down a storyline..

There's this day I visited one of my coursemates to power my gadgets, immediately I entered, i noticed this unwelcomed altitude from his roommate.

I felt a little unhappy about it tho.

Well, I thought to myself, maybe this is just first sight behavior, which most students will likely portray.

So i did my thing and left.

But later, those around him started complaining of the same behavior.

A few days later, this same guy came to my lodge with his roommate, my coursemate.

Blessed be God, that day I cooked rice.

It was really a funny experience 😂

So I welcomed them, ensured they were comfortable but I decided not to serve them.

To worsen the situation, my friend was busy with his phone, instead of the other guy to humble himself and ask 'what's up with getting the food nah'?

He got angry, collected the key to their lodge and wanted to go, but did he go?

No, he stood outside for like 2 minutes, came inside again and said, 'guh how far nah" I wan go oo. He did that thing for like 3 good times..

I sat on my bed and acted like I was not seeing what was happening.

Finally, my friend left what he was doing and went to get the food.

Even to say, thank you after eating, his lips were too heavy for that.

After that day, I believed that there are parts of his bones that are too alive and strong and needs to be BROKEN.

I see brokenness to be in different levels, hence the result of brokenness differs too.

Believe me when I say, we all have strong bones in our lives too, that needs to be broken. All of us.

One, two, three, four or even more bones..

Now, there's a brokenness that the brutal teacher called LIFE teaches us via experience.

Like the story of this my guy, imagine if he lived with an aunt who really treated him so badly, he'd definitely be hospitable.

But that bone is not broken yet.

And there's brokenness that comes when we come to the end of ourselves and allow God to take charge.

This one comes and breaks us completely, just like the parable of the prodigal son, just like Jacob and the angel he wrestled with.

When you see this type of men, respect them.
There's something so unusual about them

A lot of graces around their life, why? The Lord is nigh unto them that are of a broken heart; and saveth such as be of a contrite spirit. Psalm 18:25

Very simple. It's just sincerely, we can be full of ourselves sometimes 🥹

We know too many strategies, we have principles so much that we see Abba as another option if the others don't work.

I pray the Lord help us to have a contrite heart, even if it means taking some things from our lives away.

And may we not wait for LIFE the brutal teacher to teach us the things we can easily learn from scripture because whatsoever things were written aforetime were written for our learning.
