A Mistake I Seen Before.

While writing storified contents online , we often want it to be perfect.
And this often includes removing the scars and taking away the emotions that will connect the perfect audience.

And other times we end up sharing stories that may be misinterpreted to being proud and how is it my business etc.

Question: How can this be avoided ??

*Always answer the why before writing a storified content.

WHY are you sharing the story ??
(purpose)

* Are you writing to educate; educating your audience could be about anything. but the aim is to learn to do something differently.

*Are you writing to inspire .
*Are you writing to motivate
*Or simply writing to entertain


*Instead of Perfection seek Connection.
*Instead of Exaggerating to make it sweet, let it be Honest .
The scars could encourage someone.
the failures may teach a beginnnner.


Answering why helps you to know the choice of words to use.
It makes your writing to be you writing, more for your audience and less about you.

This Is Who I Am


once upon a time , there was a lamb who had lost its way.
while It wandered , she met different shepherds.

They promised her home and safety, but It was left under the scorching of the sun and in dryness.
she struggled with their yokes on her neck.
who will save me was her constant cry.

until one day mercy found her.
because of mercy her story has changed.
on his wings he brought her home and covered her with his shadows.
And ever since then, she has never been same again.

That's my story and this is who I am.
My Name Ani ifeyinwa Ruth.
The one he has shown mercy.

I teach , I write and I formulate cleaning products.

My brand brings you chiristian and educational contents.
I am committed to bring value and share knowledge.

Something I Was Afraid of That I Finally Did


Something I was afraid of was never accepting to try.
I was so much afraid of failure that I never gave myself a chance.
I will do it later I always said.


I knew I needed confidence , I needed to step up and quit procrastination but It wasn't easy.


I remember writing and never posting .
I always felt , It was not good enough.

But I broke free when leaned on God's strength.
I made my first post.
from the time I took up my phone to write , to the moment I hit the post button, I agreed that it wasn't me being perfect, it was me taking a step at a time.

And to imagine what my first post was .
I wrote to myself and to my fearing kinsmen .

it read thus.... Not being afraid to try is one of the greatest steps of being courageous;
those good ideas you have actually locked up because of fear of........,????
Don't be afraid to try, only those who did have a story to share.

it was straight to the point, wasn't perfect but that was the truth.

As I look back, I celebrate the courage to begin and look forward to constantly improving and becoming the best.

How I came back; my story.


Posting online became hard after resumption of the new term.
I had assumed a position as a teacher and this came with a lot of work and writing to do.

balancing writing to Post and curriculum activities made me to graduate from , a fewer post , to no posts and till the term was over it continued.

A concerned friend reached out and while I was still trying to figure out how to start, I found the link to the brandevo 21days content challenge on a friend's status, and I joined.

lt was a wonderful way to start again after such a long unpredicted break.
And from why I came online to now , this content challenge didn't just help me to post consistently , it also gave me an opportunity to meet creativity from different fields and learn too .

All thanks to my friend and brandevo.
And congratulations to me for making it to Day 15.
